  • 3 Pounds Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 Eggs
  • Parsley
  • 1/3 Cup Diced Ham
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Cheese
For the dough
  • 1 Cop Water
  • 1/4 Cup Oil (Canola)
  • Salt
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Cake Yeast (Try Fleischmann's Instant)
  • 6 Cups Flour (Assumed all purpose)

Easter Bread

This calzone like stuffed dough is from a hand written recipe. This was a real treat through the Easter weekend at Grandma Sagarese’s house.

Instructions

Mom would say: "Remember, we rolled out the dough, put the stuffing on it, folded it over and sealed it around the edges, then baked it on a cookie sheet."
Let dough rise a couple hours.
Bake 375 for 10 minutes, then 350 for 45 - 60 minutes.
